Useful information:
Costa Rica is a safe country. We encourage you to do, in particular in the capital San Jose, all safety measures that are usual in a big city or a crowded area. Never leave your belongings unattended! The people of Costa Rica are friendly and hospitable people. They will always offer you help to find your way!
The water from the taps is drinkable in Costa Rica. Nevertheless, we recommend only bottled water.
High and Low Season
The high season runs from December to April and from July to August. The weather is usually sunny, dry and warm. The low season runs from April to December. The weather is usually sunny but in the afternoon and evenings there are often heavy rain showers.
Car rental
If you rent a car we advise you to take 4 wheel drive. A 4 wheel drive enables you to explore and discover this beautiful country. We are happy to assist you with your reservation.
