La Cacatúa Lodge is a small romantic hotel/B & B located in one of the most picturesque spots near the Southern Pacific town of Uvita, Costa Rica. We offer the perfect combination of rainforest and ocean.
You will find La Cacatúa peacefully situated in the lush tropical mountains opposite to the entrance that takes you to the popular beachfront National Park, Playa Bahia Ballena, and only a few minutes away from Uvita's charming village center.

La Cacatúa Lodge is conveniently nestled into the beachside hills just outside of Playa Ballena National Park in the cozy and welcoming town of Uvita. This untouched Costa Rica beach and coastline is renowned for the many whales and dolphin species you can see most of the year, as well as the unique whale tail shaped sandbar you can walk out on during low tide.
Uvita is a small village with many options for restaurants, bars, supermarkets, banks and ATMs. Additionally, it's a great launching point to discover everything Costa Rica has to offer such as ziplining, wildlife refuges, nature tours, scuba diving, snorkeling, untainted rainforests and relaxing pristine beaches.
